Someone emails a senator because you asked. Then they hear nothing. Did it work? Was it worth it? This month we shipped updates, so the answer reaches them: you post it, we deliver it to every supporter.
We built this because closing the loop is how one-time supporters come back. People who hear what their action changed act again. People who never hear back stop.

Open your action page and find the fight so far. Tap post an update, write what happened, why it matters and what comes next, then tap post update. It appears on your action page, and your supporters get it by email and push notification. So it reaches people after they've left the page, not only when they happen to come back.
An update can be text, an image, a video or a voice note. Record one straight from the app: it's the most personal format there is.
say where the fight is
Each update carries a label, so supporters see at a glance where things stand: we're showing up, people are noticing, they heard us, something is shifting. Supporters can also follow the action to get every new update, and react to it with an emoji. It's a small thing, and it feels great to read a wall of fire emojis under "they heard us".

Running a fight is a lot, so the chilli team can prepare updates for you. When we have, you get a notification. (Today they also wait in ready to publish on your dashboard, and a banner on your updates page says "chilli prepared 2 things for you".) You read our note and sources, edit if you want, then publish or decline. Nothing is posted without your ok, and every word stays yours.
