does it actually change anything?
Every way to help lands with a named person who can decide: their inbox, their phone line, their comment section. Every completion is counted, so you can show what your community did. Caroline Gleich's campaign helped push a 75% scale-down of the Stratos data center, and construction in Big Bend was paused 6 days after launch.
how is chilli different from a petition or a link in bio tool?
Petitions collect names. chilli sends personalised emails, calls and comments to the people with the power to decide, and counts them. A link tree sends people somewhere else and hopes. chilli keeps them on a page built to get the thing done.
is chilli free?
Yes. Creating actions, sharing them and growing your supporters costs nothing. chilli takes a 0% platform fee. When supporters donate, they can add an optional tip to chilli, and that's how we keep the lights on.
can I get paid for my work on chilli?
Yes. Your community can back you with one-time or monthly donations, right next to your actions. chilli takes a 0% platform fee, banking fees (2.9% plus €0.25, $0.30 or £0.20 per payment, charged by banks and card networks) are deducted from each donation, and payments run through Stripe. Donations are switched on per account, so ask the chilli team.
who is chilli for, and how long does it take to start?
Creators on Instagram or TikTok, from 10k to 1M+ followers, who talk about climate, oceans, animals, democracy or justice. If your comments are full of "what can I do?", you're ready. Your first action takes about 15 minutes.
