make it shareable: turn your supporters into recruiters

Your reach stops at your followers. Your supporters' reach doesn't. Give them something worth sharing and a reason to do it, and every action brings in the next wave.

A supporter who takes action is great. A supporter who takes action and sends it to three friends is how a fight goes from your community to everyone's. This is the visibility step of the the creator action loop: how to turn followers into regulars: the moment where participants become recruiters.

quick context

On chilli, you publish an action (your story plus a few ways to help, like an email or a call) and share its link. Supporters are the people who follow you or take part. Everything below is about getting them to bring their friends.

1. make the momentum visible

Private actions feel lonely. Counters make them collective. chilli shows them for you:

  • "4,328 supporters already took action, join us!" at the top of your action page,
  • "520 people did this" under each way to help.

the counters worth a screenshot

Screenshot the counter and post it to your stories with a link sticker. Then do it again when it jumps. Each screenshot is proof that people are moving, and a nudge for the ones who haven't yet. (Why this works: the three urgency signals that get people to act now.)

2. hand people something ready to post

Nobody shares a naked link. Give them a visual.

  1. Open your action page and tap share this action.
  2. Swipe through the share images chilli generates and pick one.
  3. Hit save, stories, copy or QR code, depending on where it's going.
  4. Post it yourself first, then ask your community to repost it.
give people a ready-made image and a link to share

Supporters get their own nudge too. When they finish every way to help, chilli shows them "all done, you did it!" and invites them to share the impact with their friends.

3. ask for the share, out loud

Your audience can help at three levels: take action, fund your work, and share. Most creators only ask for the first. Ask for all three, in that order.

You took action? You're a legend. 🫶

Now send it to one person who'd care. That's how 1,000 becomes 10,000.

end-of-reel line

Took you 30 seconds. Now forward it to the group chat and make it a minute well spent.

4. shout out your people

People share what they're part of. Repost supporter stories, tag them, thank them by name. It makes the ones you tag feel seen, and everyone else wants in.

5. team up with other creators

Collabs are the fastest way to reach new audiences. Two creators pushing one action means two audiences, repeated exposure and instant social proof.

  • Instagram collab posts: one post, both profiles, shared comments and reach.
  • co-hosts on chilli: another creator can be shown on your action page. It's set up with the chilli team, so just ask.
  • one action, many angles: each creator frames it for their own crowd, all pointing at the same link.

Hey [name], big fan of your work on [topic].

I'm running an action on chilli to [specific ask] before [deadline]. [Number] people have already taken part. Want to push it with me? Happy to do a collab post, and we can get you added as a co-host on the action page.

Creators lined up behind one message. Result: a wider audience and a higher conversion than any of them alone.

6. warn your core crew first

Before you launch, give your most engaged people a heads up. They'll be first in, which means your counter isn't sitting at zero when everyone else arrives.

what shared pressure looks like

The krill fight started with Celina Chien. Then seven more creators, from Sea Shepherd to Seaspiracy, carried it to their own communities. Together they reached more than 5 million people and took 3,224 actions. Retailers like Holland & Barrett and dm-drogerie markt then committed to drop krill products.

your next move

Screenshot your action counter and post it with a share ask today. Then DM one creator you admire with the collab template. And once the results come in, show them off: close the loop: show your supporters their action mattered.
