your link in bio is prime real estate. use it for action
Your bio link is the one thing on Instagram that never scrolls away. Point it at an action, keep it fresh, and give it a button people want to tap.
Every caption, story and reel you post ends in the same place: your bio. It's the only permanent link you get on Instagram, and it's usually pointing at a merch store from 2023. Let's fix that.
why the bio link matters more than you think
The top link in a link-in-bio page gets the lion's share of clicks. Creators often see link #1 take somewhere around 60–70% of all taps. Translation: whatever sits at the top is what your audience actually does.
On chilli, the thing at the top should be an action: a page with your story and a few ways to help (an email, a call, a comment, a survey) that people finish in seconds. New to all this? what is chilli? the link in bio that turns followers into action covers it in two minutes.
three setups that work
1. your chilli profile as your link in bio
The simplest option. Paste app.chilli.club/profiles/yourname in your Instagram bio. Your profile already has:
- your pinned action at the top, the fight you care about most right now,
- my actions, everything else that's live,
- fund my work, where supporters can back you with one-time or monthly donations (once donations are on for your account, see set up donations and get funded by your community),
- about me, who you are and what you stand for.
Best if you run several actions and want one link that never goes stale. Set it up with set up your creator profile (and make it your link in bio).
2. chilli as link #1 in your existing link-in-bio tool
Already use Linktree, Beacons or similar? Keep it. Just make your chilli link the first button, with copy that says what happens when you tap. Best if your bio also has to carry a podcast, a shop or a newsletter.
3. grid view that mirrors your feed
Some link-in-bio tools can show a grid that matches your Instagram posts, so each post has its own tile and link. When someone taps the reel they just watched, they land on that reel's action. Best if you post lots of different fights and want each one to have its own door.
profile link or action link?
| use this | when |
|---|---|
your profile (app.chilli.club/profiles/yourname) |
the default. Always live, shows your pinned action first. |
a single action (app.chilli.club/a/…) |
a hot moment: a vote today, a viral post, a hard deadline. One link, one job. |
Swap back to your profile once the moment passes. Pin the new action on your profile so the default link stays sharp.
Both links work for people who've never used chilli. If they aren't signed up yet, they sign up and land right back on the page they tapped. On iPhone, if they already have the chilli app, the link opens straight in it.

keep it fresh
- new action, new bio line. Update the arrow line every time you launch.
- pin your top action on your chilli profile so the same link shows the right fight.
- pin a post on Instagram that points to the action, so profile visitors see it twice.
- check your links every Monday. A dead link is a lost supporter.
what a sharp funnel looks like
The Captain Paul Watson Foundation kept its supporters acting across the whole 2026 whaling season: wave after wave of actions, all tied to the same fight, adding up to 47K+ actions from 5K supporters. That's the point of an always-fresh link. When there's always a live action behind it, people keep coming back.

your next move
Open Instagram, edit your bio, and paste your chilli profile link or your latest action link. Rewrite the button copy with one of the templates above. Then make every post point there with comment to DM automation: put your action link in every inbox and share your action: captions, stories and reels that get people moving.
